Celebration

Our greyhound is commemorating the Fourth of July in several ways, some simultaneous:

  1. Hiding in the bathroom
  2. Compulsively drooling
  3. Panting
  4. Running upstairs
  5. Curling up in the corner
  6. Shivering uncontrollably
  7. Running downstairs
  8. Panting

Keep setting off those fireworks, guys!

    Wow! That sounds amazingly like what Eli was doing while we set off fireworks.

    Also, hiding in the comforter, hiding in the dirty laundry pile, hiding in the clean laundry pile.

    Blue, our 10-year-old greyhound, did just the same thing last night. I don’t remember him reacting so violently in previous years. It could be because we had left him alone in the house (with our other dog) till just after dark. By the time we got home, he was pretty freaked out. Took him forever to stop that hyperventilating-type panting! Poor guy.
