		<description>I&#039;m currently stalled on page 514 of The Savage Detectives -- and have been for 3 months! I love the first part, told from the single narrator. Then the interview section started, and I kept hoping it would be over soon, but it goes on forever, and gets more crushingly depressing as it goes on. 

I&#039;m a big fan of Love in the Time of Cholera, and I enjoyed Like Water for Chocolate when I read it a while ago. Bolano seems a bit too uber-literate for me, I guess.
